1. in the end 強調結果

in the end是指：經歷一系列事件或過程後，最終的結果或結局。

同義字，是「finally(最後地)」，它是副詞。

例句1

We wanted to buy a new car, but in the end we decided to fix the old one.

(我們想買新車，但是最後，我們決定修好舊車。)

例句1，可以把in the end，換成finally。

2. at the end 時間/位置的盡頭

at the end後面，通常加上「of 名詞」，表示時間或位置的盡頭。比如：at the end of the road(路的盡頭)、at the end of the year(在年底)。

例句2

The parking lot is at the end of the road.

(停車場在路底。)

例句2，馬路一直走到底，就會看到停車場。
