1. When it comes to +名詞

When it comes to的意思是：談到、說到(某事)

例句1

When it comes to art, she knows many famous illustrators.

(談到藝術，她認識很多有名的插畫家。)

illustrator (n.) 插畫家

例句1，when it comes to後面的名詞，是「art(藝術)」。

例句2

When it comes to chess, no one knows more than Tim.

(談到西洋棋，沒有人懂得比提姆還多。)

chess (n.) 西洋棋

例句2，表示Tim，他是西洋棋的專家。

2. When it comes to + V-ing

When it comes to的to，是介系詞，因此後面要接V-ing。

例句3

When it comes to drawing, she is creative.

(談到畫畫，她很有創意。)

creative (adj.) 有創意的，有創造力的

The boy becomes very nervous when it comes to talking with his teacher.

(談到要和老師講話，男孩變得很緊張。)
